Benefits of Computer Remote Access for Support There are thousands of articles and blogs on the web talking about the latest news coming out of Citrix Online's newest incarnation of their famous computer remote control for online remote PC support program. The newest development, that's still in beta but capturing a lot of well deserved attention, is called gotoassist beta. Citrix is streamlining their well known gotoassist remote support program and possibly at a lower cost per license or tech support seat.
With need comes demand and programs that give technicians the tools to remotely access and remote control computer desktops and servers from anywhere in the world help those technicians and engineers to support their end-users and remote clients with more efficiency and speed.
The need to provide faster computer technical support is compounded by the ever-growing advances in technology and the ever increasing reliance on computer systems for everyday living in highly industrialized countries and regions. web based PC Remote Support Software sets the stage for accomplishing this by giving technicians, computer engineers, application specialists and software developers a fundamental resource from which to get remote desktop access for supporting remote PC desktops on the web via remote PC control.

By yon von rhinehardt at 2008-02-07 22:01:03 Citrix has been one of my favorite programs for giving computer users a remote desktop as session for connecting to and providing applications. Although the program can help solve a great deal of issues by allowing centralized management and software deployments through the network and even the WAN such as the Internet. The program itself is something to be fearful of because as there are many problems it solves, there are just as many that it creates. The problems moved from the desktop where they have been for quite sometime now and make them all be server problems. The problems vary of course but the majority of times they are printer related. Printing problems have always plagued Citrix deployments and supporting Citrix server and desktops that use the Citrix network protocol client (ICA client). Desktop support for Citrix deployments aren't so bad, it's the very strange problems that are server side that are the worst for tech support to troubleshoot and support is surely bogged down with these types of calls as they've been for so many years with past versions. A useful tool for desktop support through Citrix itself is the ability to shadow users remote desktop sessions. This is valuable desktop support software tool for supporting desktop users of published applications and fully published desktops.
